Wow Vern it is so sad to think there are glass fragments in our paua sea beds and unbelievable that NZ children are needing to swim on boards to keep themselves safe. This is a challenge for all New Zealanders as the paua is a special treasure of our seas and need to be protected.
Thanks for a lovely, bright and informative post this week Vern. Remember to edit to make sure the image fits within the margins. Also my tip for next time is that when you are reading, read the text 3 times! The first time just read through the text. For the next two times have the questions you need to answer, or the information points you are seeking copy and pasted into a word document in front of you, or write them into your workbook. Then when you are reading keep the questions in your mind. When you come across an answer in your reading you can type it into the word document or write into your workbook. That word document, or your workbook, will then give you all the information you need to complete your DLO and your blog post. Great effort, you just needed to have presented a few more bits of information from the readings to answer the set questions. Also remember to put the WALT (monitor our reading to ensure we have a full and deep understanding of what we read) on the first slide. Well done. Mrs Ali :)
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language. 3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question. Encourage me to make another post!
